RICKSHAW™ Software Features

  1. Mobile Crew Access
    Crews are able to access trip information and enter times and mileage via the crew access feature. Data is transmitted between crews in the field and your server via a secure, encrypted connection. Any web-enabled device can be used. A properly configured tablet seems to work best for crews.
  2. Transport Request Form
    The web-based transport request form takes the information from an agency requesting a transport and sends it to the dispatcher. The dispatcher is alerted and, once approved, the request is automatically placed into the system as a pending transport.
  1. Authorization Required
    Verify insurance approval in advance of the transport. Each insurance type can be configured to require advance authorization. The dispatcher is alerted to the need for an authorization by use of a consistent and unique icon on the dashboard.
  1. Trip Sharing
    Allows multiple agencies to share trips even when using different RICKSHAW™databases. Once configured, a requesting agency can send a request, generating a visual alert to the dispatcher. The request can be accepted or declined, and quickly referred to another affiliated agency within the group. Also, once the transport has been performed, key data such as times can be back-filled into the report, alleviating the need for crews to call or otherwise notify headquarters, and further enabling a quick turnaround to the next transport.
  1. Late Trip Warnings
    Based on response times, a trip will be highlighted with a customized color alerting the dispatcher that the trip is potentially late.
  1. Reports
    A flexible report engine is contained within the system to assist users In creating useful reports for their operation. Data elements, filters and layouts are customized by the user. All data can be exported to commonly used applications for further use.
  1. Custom Referral Source
    Each referral source can have various requirements. The administrator can determine what fields show in the requirements, and indicators visually alert the user to each required field.
  2. Alerts
    Several fields can have custom alerts created. A dashboard icon provides a visual cue indicating there is important information for that trip.
  1. Data Imports/Exports
    Data can be received from, and sent to, other software applications. Selected imports from 911 CAD and exports to ePCR, billing software and billing service providers is supported.
  2. Permission Groups
    Individuals are assigned to groups and the groups have a defined set of permissions. This allows the administrator to configure their user settings based on their needs, not the predetermined set of needs defined by the system.
  1. Change Logs
    A number of queries can be made to see what trip data was changed, when it was changed, and to determine the identity of the user who changed it.
  1. Layouts/Themes
    Individual users are able to customize their layout. A one-time setup will ensure it is saved for future use. Users can also individualize colors and themes from a variety of options. Settings are saved at the user level enabling a unique look based on individual preference.
